The Welco Legacy
Welco Lumber was founded in 1972 by the late W.E. (Bill) Uveges. Bill was a well-known and widely respected lumberman with over 60 years in the business. Bill most enjoyed handcrafting cedar timber brackets in Welco’s woodshop; we still use some of the beautiful patterns that Bill created, in his honor.
Our Work Ethic
Today, we feature a line of manufactured Cedar components known as Bill’s Best. We hold ourselves to the highest standards. We only buy the highest grade - wood is a natural product and the blemishes and imperfections can make it beautiful.
Like Bill, we still put family first. Welco is a small team of skilled craftsmen who care deeply about one another and our work.
